I think "issue of the week" cartoons need to make a comeback. They did tell kids the importance of good morals and being kind to one another.

Modern cartoons like Teen Titans Go teach some pretty bad morals. They teach kids to be annoying and mean to each other.

I feel that it's the parents or guardians' responsibility to educate their children of morals. Television, books, movies, etc can help but it should not be replace them.
If that's the sole focus of your show, it's gonna be remembered like "oh, this is the episode with the racist dad", "remember the one with the breast envy?" rather than for the characters

Sometimes it suceeds at being a tween-drama like when she actually gets together with her crush really early in the series but is actually a bad girlfriend and manages to goad the good-natured boy into dumping her by being so annoying (although I'm not sure it ever has her realize it was her fault [woman moment]), but it's kind of stupid a lot of the time, like anytime Sharon tries to get political.

The art's a little wonky, but the design is good jail bait (as distinct from loli)

The CGI backgrounds are really fucking ugly.

Richard Spitz was a total deadbeat. He made 3 kids with Helen, couldn't handle working a regular job. Got a divorce and went off to play music with his band on the road and then never sees his ex-wife or kids. I have to agree with Grandpa here.

I am certain the frog episode was monkied with. It was sailing straight into a moral of "just because you feel strongly about something doesn't obligate others to agree or even care" with a secondary moral of "choosing friendships based on ideological conformity is unwise" but at the last second Sharon's mom makes a phone call and she gets to "win".

Unironically yes, it has some great episodes and is a pretty fun second monitor watch, tackling early 2000s issues like online porn and eating disorders, it's almost unfortunate the show is most known for the expanding bra since it has lots to offer beyond that as most people dismiss it
