most scent descriptions are bs anyway, since its such a highly subjective sense. but if I had to guess, there is a specific and noticeable difference to how air smells at sunrise and sunset. plant sleep cycles, smog, heat and cold affecting surfaces, etc. its hard to describe, but they are ready scents
