I hope FF flops just so they have go course correct and figure out someone else to be the Iron Man or Captain American of Doomsday and Secret Wars. Spiderman is the only MCU hero left that audiences would actually want to see leading the two movies but he's apparently not even that involved in them. It’s actually very odd that they didn’t just build this around Strange, Spider-Man, Deadpool and the other few popular characters they have left. Infinity War had all the biggest stars up front and that was when every MCU movie was a hit.

Unless they revise it during the production delay it feels like they’re pretending the Brave New World and especially Thunderbolts were more successful than they were and that they’re still in the era when they can make any character popular.

If they built up Bucky as the next Captain America he could've been a potential big player too, people really like Sebastian Stan and his performances up until BNW. Him not even staying in shape for Thunderbolts and taking the crusty look too far has lost him a lot of the general public's interest though.
