The humor got old pretty fast. It has some good moments, especially season 1, but i can only watch a crazy character scream or charlie go "uhhh, that is so friggin weird i dont even know what to say" so many times. It doesnt help that if you watched zach's animations and oneyplays you've already heard a lot of the jokes, or at least jokes that differ so little in concept that they might as well be the same.

I think it started very strong in season 1, then season 2 is where the cracks are starting to form. Charlie feels more and more like Zach's self insert, the short episode format means they can't tell actual stories in a decent amount of time (best seen with Rotten and the Halloween episode), the "haha realistic conversation" jokes are beginning to run thin, and, this is a big one, it's starting to become a YouTuber cameo party. I get letting your friends jump in and do some voice acting but when people are having polls and discussions about who should be next the guy for a one off you may have gone too far.

I recently rewatched it and it's kind of a shame how more prevalent the stupid improv "normal talk" and rambling is present in s2 compared to 1 which seems to keep a closer structure. I hope s3 and 4 avoid doing it as much as s2 has them, they are just stupid and annoying to stop the show for them.
On the rare instance that they fit the context of the script, when they discover the earth is flat is always so fucking stupid that Zach rambles the line "I need to sit down" for Charlie but he is already sitting down

My biggest issue with SF is Charlie is honestly just not funny or charming and whatever they're going for with him is being done poorly. Every other character is vastly superior to him besides Glep only cause he's such a bottom rung after thought character Charlie is better by default.
But yes it's alright, I'm looking forward to season 3, it's just meh and yes it's the best adult cartoon currently airing by a long shot.

After Season 2 I kinda lost interest in this series. It's kinda of a nothingburger of a show. I don't mind that it's lighter in tone and serialized, but the characters don't really feel fleshed out. ATHF had a similar premise but we got to see more smoother and funnier back and forths between the cast, but I guess that's because it's a longer running show. The Alien episode was very lazy and seriously ruined the entire show for me.

Its not knee slappingly funny, but it is funny enough.
It just feels nice to be in the joke and see people you like succeed if you've been following the Newgrounds/SleepyCast/Oneyplays boys since the beginning.
I was one Newgrounds like every single day from 2002-2009.
Then following Egotaptor I found Jontron on GameGrumps in like 2014.
Following Jontron I found him on an episode of Sleepycast in 2017.
And from Sleepycast I found Oneyplays in 2017.

I had unknowingly already saw all the boys stuff before because I had seen:
Chris' Hold Devil's Pot of Tea on the front page of Newgrounds.
Zach from Cats on Tosh.O from there saw Arrow to the Knee and Hell Benders.
And I had seen Cory's stuff from Sonichu TAS in 2010.

So its fun to see someone you've been following for a decade succeed, and be in on all the jokes because half the shit was in some shape or form discussed on Oneyplays.

So half the time watching it I'm doing pic related.
