Comedies run out of jokes, long before syndication can hit, but creators want to keep their work. Pride, money, whatever the reason it means comedies always have a 'well you can stop watching it here' point.
There are few, if any comedies, that know when to leave while the crowd is cheering. If they did, it was because they were cancelled and it's a sore point for everyone. But they never revive well, it's just heading for the new 'you can stop here' point.
Every comedy ends in a tragedy.

I WILL SEE YOU IN DECEMBER, /CO/...
TOMORROW.
i quite enjoyed it minus the part where they recast boxxy brown
>>149472107 (OP)I don't like how this movie and the latest season had actual things going on.
Part of what made old ATHF funny is that they would rarely find a solution to whatever predicament they're in
>>149472107 (OP)one whole character was just a launching pad for short man jokes, like that hasn't been done before
>>149472217Yeah the movie and the last season felt more like nu-South Park than ATHF
>>149472107 (OP)Haven't seen it, how does it compare with the Aqua Donk Side Pieces?
>>149472107 (OP)ATHF's humor completely hinged on the dialogue being funny. The plot and character development were non-existent. This movie tried to do a bit more with the plot and characters, but the dialogue wasn't that funny. Aqua Teen without funny lines is basically nothing.
This and the new season werenโt too great.
>>149472107 (OP)They cut back on the body horror aspect and it wasn't as mean as it usually is, I mean Carl didn't get a single thing rammed up his ass.
Also frylocks co-workers seemed off, like they were the type of characters that would normally have gotten blown up in some sort of collateral damage but that didn't happen and they just kept showing up.
>>149474635>I mean Carl didn't get a single thing rammed up his assAlso the line where he goes "right now the world needs a toxic white male" was so out of character and had made no sense for ATHF
