I'm practically an atheist (I say Nontheist as in whether there is or isn't a god or whether or not I believe in one, I'm going to try to do and be good either way) and I still have my kid do First Day School. I did Sunday school, Thursday night Scripture reading and more growing up and while I don't quite believe in any god and never really have, I appreciate the foundation my religious upbringing gave me and want my son to have the same.
