Man, this is some ancient walking down memory lane. I remember having a lot of mixed feelings on the comics in later years, like how the comic suddenly got cold feet regarding whether it wanted the tf stuff to be light-hearted or dramatic and just kept staggering blindly between the two extremes, but I'll take something more lighthearted if weird and a bit fetishy in the sea of bland shit we got now.

It just has an intrisict potential for storytelling beyond just the fetishe aspect. Be TG, animal, Centaur, a Genie even an inanimated object, the "How", "Why" and the "And now what?" questions give plenty of opportunities for a story from the get go, that's not hard to see why so many web comics went there... even if it was because the author had a "thing" for the subject matter. Oh, she came out long after the comic went to hiatus hell, and everyone got real lifes to take care off, so the hype was long over at that point and she took that decission on cold mind. I have chat with her before and they are fairly well adjusted. Just extremely stressed out for the current state of the world.
