luckily my back catalogs of AdDaD, 3/3.5, and current Pathfainder still provide lots of ideas and builds to homebrew.

Do you want a cartoon about a high fantacy setting and a group of heros, or do you just want a show called Dungeons and Dragons?
The former would be easy as pie, the latter would have to deal with modern WotC's self-loathing.
