Believe it or not it was actually worse, this was back during the time of the pony scourge, up until they were driven back and /mlp/ was created. All boards and basically all the internet was hit, but /co/ was at the epicenter and received some of the worst damage.
But before that? Yeah, pretty much the best place ever to discuss comics and cartoons.
