>>149493258 (OP) I agree but he's still a pretty big asshole and his creator is not all that so I don't expect this franchise to go far, especially in today's market when all the best furry culture is exploited and used primarily to make propaganda.
>>149494587 Fritz was just a slacker who was out for sex, drugs, and rock and roll and not paying a dime for it if at all possible. Not surprising Crumb made him a cat; he's pretty much what a tom cat would be if it were human.
>>149494747 you're right but yo gotta admit the movie was pretty damm hot, so was the sequel, they don't make furry stuff like that in today's cultural wasteland where furries hurt other furries just for being furries
>>149494911 I know, you can tell the writers and cartoonists had a lot of fun making that movie, one of the characters i loved the fat mouse who got lost in the jungly, he's so cute and handsome!
>>149495107 me too but he'd still be a risky guy to have since he could easily run off with someone else in the next minute, he does that both in the movies and in the comics
>>149495296 well that's good for you i would totally fuck him too but I have to admit he's a bastard so he's not exactly at the top of my list but he's still pretty hot so I get you

>>149495051 You are right it does mean devil in german lol. It's a double multilanguage pun I never noticed that. >>149494956 Yeah all the characters are interesting, I found that part a bit scary as a little kid since the bats wanted to suck his blood/kill him.
Fritz is entirely worthy of being placed into the National Film Registry.

>>149494654 Crumb was making an edgy tribute to the hippie era while Bakshi made a scathing indictment of that whole thing and basically showcased how it died and rotted. Crumb comics are really good, but Bakshi made something genuinely profound with somewhat juvenile material.
>>149496548 I do, the film would be so different if he was buried in black ass.

>>149496778 >Crumb was making an edgy tribute to the hippie era I don't think you know Crumb. He was as critical of hippie culture if not even more so than Bakshi. Frtiz was always meant to be a piece of shit. Though the comics are definitely more edgy and filled with more shock value than Bakshi's version

I genuinely think the world be radically different if Crumb wasn't an autist and continued to draw Fritz long after the movie
>>149496829 A shot of his penis is a little hard to find but I'll have one soon, im digitizing the comic. Trust me fritz's penis in the comic is awesome, it's huge!
>>149495843 yeah but in the end they don't and he plays in the band with them and makes that cute vampire smile at the very end of the film, it was so cute it made me go nuts
>>149508176 There's actually nothing conclusive to show what exactly was Crumb's problem Cartoonist Kayfabe(RIP) interviewed Bakshi and he said Crumb never gave a singular reason.
