What is even the focus of the storyline anymore? All the way up to Endgame there was the conflictive around the infinity stones giving the whole MCU a sense of focus and direction. I am not feeling anything resembling

There wasn’t a real reason beyond /co/‘s cynicism and thinking everything ever is going to fail. Also thought Guardians was going to bomb.

It honestly never occurred to me that they wouldn’t build this movie around the few popular characters they have left like Strange, Spidey and Wolverine.

Feige seems to be acting like he’s still riding high and can make a star of anyone. Either that or he believes Fox X-Men nostalgia is bigger than it is.

That said I don’t think anyone cares about the overarching story of the “saga,” which was always fake. Thanos might as well not have even been a character before Infinity War. But that movie had all the MCU’s biggest stars who had all recently been in hit movies and this has the Thunderbolts and the Brave New Worlds.
