McDonald has a clown mascot named "Ronald McDonald" who gets physical appearances in commercials but also gets an entire fictional land called "McDonaldland" that had generated not only a supporting cast of memorable characters, but a cartoon by the Rugrats people, original toys, video games of various questionable qualities, etc.

Even Burger King has "The King" and those infamous Xbox 360 games, etc. etc.

The sensible answer is because Wendy’s has never marketed to kids in the same way McDonalds or BK does. The /co/ answer is: After that experience with social media some time ago, you know why.
