Batman fans aren't that obnoxious since DC dialed down the Batwank after Death Metal, now it's quarantined to Absolute Batman

Set aside the vs battle/prep-time guys and Batman doesn't even have the most annoying fans out of the characters from Batman comics.
Just on /co/ alone, the Harley/Ivy fans and the Cassandra Cain spergs are much worse, and people who actually want "the Bat Family" are bad too.

To be fair, most of those guys are by their own admission people who used to love 80s-90s X-Men and hate what it's been turned into. And they're not wrong.

Whenever Marvel or DC do something with a lower-tier property, there's an annoying tendency to do what you're doing here, and dismiss anyone who claims to like those characters as fake fans and shills, when the truth is most characters who've had their own book do have their own small fandoms. For example, there's a small number of anons on /co/ who genuinely do like the Inhumans, and hated the 2010s push just as much as everyone else did. The New Gods is 70s Kirby, of course they do have some fans, though mostly Darkseid and Orion.
Set aside the vs battle/prep-time guys and Batman doesn't even have the most annoying fans out of the characters from Batman comics.
