Oh I'm not surprised by that, I'm a regular reader of all age comics, but this one actually had me get teary eyed as I started understanding the parallel story being told with the flashbacks, and despite having Sunny outright tell the theme at the end to her grandpa it still really made me emotional.

I red Red's Planet storytime >>149475016 earlier and that was a fun read but it didn't have the emotional gravitas this story had.

Comics are a great way to learn a language. It's short bursts of text with visual accompaniment making it easy to parser and reference and decipher meaning from what's written. I remember learning French from slowly going through an Asterix comic, understanding what's going on from what's being shown and cross referencing words with a dictionary.
