This made me realize Karl Urban would have been a much better Guy Gardner than Nathan Fillion.

I know how badly you want to but you can't cast Urban as everyone.

No, if they made a Karl Urban bio-pic he'd be played by Edris Elba.

Is anyone else torn on his casting as Cage? I'm worried about his athletics ability, but I also thing having an "over the hill" Cage makes for a more interesting character. Ashby killed it, so Urban's gonna have to bring his A-Game.

He has that roguish hero lead appeal.

>I'm worried about his athletics ability

Going by the trailer they'll just have a stuntman do most of the heavy lifting.

Can he though?
>>149527015
I mean does he really? He's got kind of the drawl I suppose but he doesn't really come out that too much

He was in Firefly.
I haven't really watched it, but I know a lot of people like it, or at least they did at one point.
I mostly know him from Castle. Don't ask.

In his prime he had a Brendan Fraser style appeal

The everyman with a good jaw, a smart mouth but you can believe he's gonna take some licks and keep on fighting

He made a good Hal voice because Andrea Romano was still the voice director for those early movies and she knew what the studio didn't, that he would have made a good Hal

He's the nerd's Clooney. He has a charm to him but just like Clooney they're both just ok in everything they're in.

gonna have to disagree, Guy was one of the best parts of the movie thanks to Fillion's performance. i know he's generally seen as a better fit for Hal, and i get it, but he was great as Guy honestly

He's classically charming, he just got old by now.
