It is going to be something to wonder. The chibi designs usually sand down a lot of odd jank in designs to get them into form with the rest of the Chibis but sometimes some weird design elements stay. Like Phineas keeps his big triangle head for one. Some of these goobers already look weird so it's hard to say how they'd redesign them.
