>First season is just generic police procedual drama like any other save for characters with Batman names
Talk about a significant turnaround.

It was the highest viewed show of the DC shows. More so than even Supergirl. Although CW was retarded and moved the Supergirl show on the exact same time Gotham came on Fox.

Well, once they got past Season 1 being such a boring drag and embraced the comic book cheese.

I wish they had kept it just a tease. The reveal was pretty good, but they were never going to do Grundy justice.

notJoker, Riddler, Penguin, and some of the other male villains drew in a lot of chicks. notJoker also drew in a lot of 15 year old boys that thought he was badass and "suuuuper insane"

It was really hit or miss but usually entertaining.i almost gave up on it a bunch of times till the Batmany shit started coming together. Props to the actors involved for pulling off that extremely klunky dialog. Jada smiths character almost ruined the fucking show. I did like the spin-off episode of The Shield.

It reminded me of the 78 Hulk series. It's literally just a run-of-the-mill police show, but with obscure comic characters transformed into serial killers and gangsters. I'm glad it's become more open to being comic booky, but part of me also wanted to know what would happen if it stayed with tone. Would Darksed just be an Italian crime boss?
>>149541423
>>149541501
It seemed to appeal to the "superwholock" type fans, it's funny that the writers thought making Barbara a mary-sue would be something they would like, but literally everyone excluding guys who wanted to fuck Erin Richards, hated her

I don't know if there's a term for it, but the show had a huge problem with actors with "limited" acting ability having to share scenes with really talented actors and it was jarring every time, basically every scene with Carmine Falcone was like this

im sick of these shows that star 50 people.
I can tell the shows being used to payback favors. And so we have to get 50 plotlines across 20 episodes and nothing gets enough exploration on it to be interesting.

I watched this. It worked for a bit, but then they started shoehorning in Batman villains like no-one would notice. They changed Poison Ivys at lease 3 times, teased Man-Bat in a promo & NEVER showed up, then that wrap-up at the last episode felt so last-minute, it all outclassed Kindred: The Embraced for worst adaptation ever.
And that whole botched crowbar-ing in that 'not Joker'/'Baby Joker' schizoid writing crap?

*waves off in disgust, leaves*
