Reminder that Shark Tale autist anon is right.

It's a badly written film and ultimately not good, but it is a really interesting example of a CGI film attempting to replicate traditional animation techniques.

Not at all, it was that same year that the Incredibles released and they managed to apply traditional animation principles to CGI without looking like absolute shit so it doesn't even have the benefit of being an early pioneer.

Each Pixar movie had a new technological advancement, The Incredibles being their first film with a primarily human cast, taught them how to properly animate humans, they had to rework the software to animate fat and muscles, looking at pre-Incredibles human designs from Pixar like Al and the guy from Finding Nemo, you can tell their movements look a bit stiff in comparison.

It wouldn’t have been possible to animate Elastigirls jiggle physics two years prior.

I don't know what that has to do with Shark Tale being ugly as sin and Incredibles looking great despite both movies trying to use traditional animation techniques with one failing and the other succeeding.
