This cartoon made me realize WHY we won't be getting good adventure stories again before a long time.

Millenial artists have 0 LIFE EXPERIENCE
>Never conscripted
>Never fight (except in videogames)
>Never held a gun (except in videogames)
>Never climbed a mountain (except in videogames)
>Never drove a boat (except in videogames)
>Never drove a plane (except in videogames)
>Never rode a horse (except in videogames)
>Don't even have a car (except in videogames)
>Never hunted (except in videogames)
>Allergic to any manual work (except in videogames)
>Can't light a fire (except in videogames)
>Can't run for more than two minutes (except in videogames)
>Can't stand hunger for more than two hours (except in videogames)
>Unable to know where they are without a GPS (even in videogames)
>Unable to make any decision on their own
>Unable to assume responsabilities
>Learn nothing useful about the real world
>Don't even know their neighbors name or anything about the place they live in
Adventure is all about overcoming difficulties relying on tour skills, how can you expect the most overprotected generation of nepobabies to tell engaging adventures if they never lived anything close to it.
All they can write is relationship shit because most of their lives have been revolving around social media for the last decade.

Our last hope now is we all get drafted to Ukraine, Iran or wherever so the few of us that will survive van come back with real experiences to convert into exciting adventures.

Millenials have harder lives than boomers and experiences to tell but not the ones that get to make shows for big studios.

The writing team consisted of twitter addicted grown dorks that never actually did anything exciting a day in their lives.

Which is why every adventure was sidelined so they could have an episode about a slumber party or game night at home.

One thing I've said before is that it's not Millennials as a whole who are the problem, it's the SPECIFIC Millennials that keep getting hired. Contra OP, there are actually Millennials with war experience. Remember Iraq and Afghanistan? There are Millennials that have lived very interesting lives. But for some reason, they're not the ones that get picked to be showrunners, writers, and animators. We get the shitty Millennials in those jobs instead, and I don't know why.

The pudgy fuck on the left was writing it.
And he never did shit with his life so he wrote every single episode as an At Home sitcom where they never really go anywhere or do anything. From a fat fuck that never went anywhere or did anything.

Disney nor any other studio will hire new blood for anything anymore. No one has training or early career programs anymore. It's all the same old people or their immediate kids that they can fast track into jobs.

Suits want coporate bootlickers, so those are the people who get the job. They also want inoffensive slop, and said bootlickers will bend over backwards to make it happen.

I mean the actual reason is you all refused to watch Legend of the Three Caballeros instead of this for whatever reason just like you wouldn't watch Tron/MC but I digress

All the millennial artists who do all of that aren't in the industry. There's a few artists that randomly drop vids of themselves firing guns or doing that shit but they got a make sure they've got an audience catered to that. If you find an artist who's good at drawing guns then high chances they hit everything you said but it also means the big lefty ones will immediately never want to talk to them.

What a fat bald bastard. He probably plays Magic the Gathering.

Gravity Falls was a decent adventure, because it's based around Alex Hirsch's adventures in the Pacific Northwest as a child.

I admit, that my life hasn't exactly been all that adventurous either. I did take anthropology/archaeology as a major in college. But that doesn't mean I've explored ancient pyramids. I'm a 38 year old millennial and I play video-games. Yes I'm currently on a hiking adventure - just in Death Stranding on PS4.

The hand drawn and colored backgrounds of the old Duck Tales cartoon really was important for capturing that Indiana Jonesy feel of adventure and foreign travel. You really can't get the same feeling of adventure and mystery with modern style simple backgrounds.

They really aren't, for every decent story there's a dozen of
>fucking beta loser with no friends and/or bullied by Chaddo ends up with half a dozen of bitches madly in love with him because he's actually really smart and cool (and also powerful if it's a fantasy setting) but also too humble to realize it
or
>meek mid bitch maligned by jealous skanks that ends up with a tall high status man(or men, up to three) with a pointy chin madly in love with her because she's actually really cute and charming but also too humble to realize it
festering on Japanese equivalents on wattpad and AO3 and nevertheless constantly getting fucking manga and animated adaptations.

Yeah, I know but at least there is something more or less decent every year. How many cartoons (bad or good) do we get per year? Four?

I never really see any new stories or art styles in anime. That's why I quit watching it years ago.

I see so much isekai, high-school, and harem crap. Often times, all 3 of them together in one anime. I never really see any new art styles or stories that make me think "now this is different."

The last time I watched an anime that truly felt unique and different was Cyberpunk Edgerunners. Even there, the world-building was the result of Western RPG writers.
