This mediocre funny page series is a fucking pseudmagnet.
How does Alan do it with these high-school-tier philosophical assumptions and beliefs? Are people just genuinely fucking stupid? They speak of it as if its plot and pictures were divine revelations of the fundamental truths of the universe and morality with no ambiguity. Worst of all, they look at this highly deterministic fictional universe and the consequentialist parable it amounts to being and vainly argue that there is any meaning at all to be gleaned from its pages.
Oh, and superhero comic books are fascist because, uh, they glorify fictional individuals or something and make people fix problems when the enlightened communists showed us that people cannot fix their problems. It is only systems that fix problems, nevermind that they are made up of people. Also, the only problem we have is that the vast proportion of the unwashed masses do not live in maximally pleasurable conditions where all their cravi- er, needs are met with increasing quantity.
