It's basically the both. Sort of a step-down from previous eps where his impulses were not the detriment for most of the episode plots.

Big City Greens is shit, it’s your standard oversanitized beanmouth children’s television programming in our current poor state for our animation industry. If you praise this shit for its story and characters you mind as well be praising Paw Patrol for its story and characters, retard.

I’ll stick with watching good shit like The Patrick Star Show and Smiling Friends

FTFY

Also, with aimless, nonsensical writing, bad voice acting, and lack of emotion and depth. Do you really think a sane person would consider it a decent show? Not to mention, it shares the same overly wacky animation style the original SpongeBob show has been using since Season 10 and it’s one of the ugliest art-styles to ever grace a Nicktoon

I will admit that the biggest issue of current Nubob in general is how style over substance it is, but ugliest art-style? Lol, lmao even, the animation looks amazing for a modern cartoon. You’ve been raised on so much beanmouth slop you don’t know what a real cartoon looks like. The Ren & Stimpy-like animation is Nubobs biggest highlight.

Honestly the Patrick Star Show feels like Uncle Grandpa all over again, people hate it cause it’s a wacky surreal cartoon, just like how people hated Uncle Grandpa for being a wacky surreal cartoon and not story-driven loreshit. I bet you when The Patrick Star Show gets cancelled people will begin to see the quality in it, just like how they did with UG. But "oopsie it’s cancelled now man this show was overhated", except they were the ones who fucking hated it, don’t let history repeat itself.

UG was more better than Patrick Star Show in terms of its appeal, writers in later SBSP seasons trying to mimic off of RS and UG, you can say at least UG was more faithful and at least didn't shit on the grave of the creator like what Kamp Koral and Patrick Star show did

Not the best look that they aired together, but I didn't really dislike him in either episode. Having to wait just to get a table when you're already hungry sucks no matter what your age, so having that be the initial driving force only for him to realize it was really his impulsiveness that he needed to fight worked for me. It was also funny to see Tilly get weird and worship the buzzer. The whole episode felt like it was from an early season that they never got around to making until now.
Since the second episode focuses on Nancy's side of things, I was thinking less of Cricket acting out and more of the other times she has gone to great lengths to set a good influence for the kids. Specifically, it put me in mind most of the Drive-In episode where she sees something and makes a bigger deal of it than it really is.

NTA but I don't even know why Cricket would give a shit. I'm hoping for more of a flashback/storytime episode, something like Lisa's First Word, and not a 'Cricket overreacts about nothing, again!' episode like that dumbass one that had the fortune teller in it.

I didn't know they could do an episode about unplanned pregnancy in a kids' show. I guess second kid lessens the blow of it versus a first kid where it could imply they weren't married.

Well assured that the writers wanted to touch basis on the divorce but the executives but felt it would've been too mature for the target audience (mainly consists of children) to handle such as touchy subject since some of them have a single parent or have parents that were recently divorced. I'm pretty sure there were shows that focused on the subject.
