The spammer keeps attacking the /co/ drawthread, and the mods seem to be asleep or simply don't care that the drawthreads are already badly damaged by spam.

I asked a similar question in the My Life Me thread, chalking it up to the overall decline of the site. I didn’t think it was that bad

It's sad, because nobody can request anything anymore, this also doesn't help with the fact that artists can't draw anymore without the risk of drawing for the spammer(s), I just posted two drawings in the drawthread, but they will get buried in the spam

Besides the possibility of being doxxed by the Sharty, why don't more /co/ers sign up to be mods themselves? The current management clearly isn't doing shit

The risk of being doxxed is incentive enough honestly.
That said something that I see a lot of is, "do it for free." And I have to pause and think one of two thoughts stems from this. One, people think mods and jannies should be paid (dumb) or they think 4chan should have no moderation at all (also dumb, but the closest there is to that is >>>/b/ or >>>/trash/)
I try not to get too into the weeds talking about or complaining about moderation on 4chan, as I've always viewed "less is more" as a good rule of thumb, but there's basically two rules for a sfw that should be enforced - keep things sfw and keep them on topic. And of course keep stuff legal, but you know. That usually follows sfw stuff.

the .trash threads actually do get moderated, surprisingly. i saw an anon one time talking about what the furfag community used to be like only to have his comments deleted and for the thread getting deleted. there was even a male+female fatfur thread on trash that got locked and had posts memory-holed from the archive as if it never happened.
