Silver Samurai AND Spiral are too much "silver/grey with a samurai helmet", should be one or the other, and throw in a different villain like Toad, Pyro, Lady Deathstrike, Deathbird, or Sabretooth

People at Capcom at the time were mostly unfamiliar with the source material, they were given a bunch of comics as reference so they picked up the characters with designs they liked, that's why you got Shuma Gorath in the following game, Bone Breaker in the Punisher beat em up or for another property unrelated to Marvel how they picked a minor villain from the comics who dies rather quickly to be the main antagonist of the Cadillacs & Dinosaurs beat em up

I think Cadillacs & Dinosaurs was the best licensed beat em up Capcom ever did and it is a shame that is the only one who never got a re-release, the Konami X-Men beat em up was also better than Capcom's Punisher one IMO

You gotta remember who was in the Jim Lee/Liefield era of X-Men books, all the art in the game came from the first 12 issues of X-Men '91 or Lee's X-Men series trading cards, with the exception of Silver Samurai who was a Silvestri piece from an earlier Wolverine comic.
The X-Men are obvious they all had iconic panels in X-Men #1, Spiral was in issues 11 and 12,Omega Red was in 4, Magneto in #1 Juggernaut was on a mini poster that came in issue 1 but was all over X-Force

Good!, every other game it's always Heroes fighting themselves and maybe a few bad guys, that ALWAYS felt very off to me.
