I firmly believe that John K. being a pedo damaged the reputation of wacky expressive cartoons, the Internet shits on any Spumco-inspired thing like post-sequel SB or Fixed, I even remember some /co/tards hating that new Bullet Time pilot a week ago.

The animation community is so divisive it's insane. Is it impossible to enjoy Steven Universe and Ren & Stimpy at the same time?

I've seen some anons be too harsh on it, but that cartoon was objectively not very good. The refreshing animation isn't enough to save that headache-inducing pilot.

He had a couple posts about the development of Tiny Toons and the way /co/fags talk about him you'd think he personally hates everyone involved. No he just doesn't like the show, he liked Jim Smith and Eddie Fitzgerald's works (he specifically mentioned he laughed at the "Jump for Justice" song), he said they recruited a lot of MM/B&C talent
He likes Genndy personally I guess, he doesn't care for Jack or Clone Wars but I guess he likes Dexter and the man himself. Why is it that not liking a cartoon automatically seems to equal not liking them personally?

He hasn't made anything good in decades, who cares?

I like his commentary tracks on the Looney Tunes and Popeye sets, he’s a lot more tolerable when he’s talking about stuff he likes.

Because of the variety of losers who felt compelled to come and harass me about “missing out on an animation job” while I was seeking to build an art career outside of animation, doing much damage to my loved ones, I shall be bombarding animation artists and some others with anti-lgbtq truth bombs. My goal is to do irreversible damage to sexual identity and coomer* culture, synchronizing with government crackdowns on porn so they do some good.

As a cartoonist my biggest fear is having my art one day degrade in quality like John K’s did, some argue that his artstyle downgrade is a natural progression of his artstyle, which feels worse knowing that one day in the future my art is gonna look like shit and only I’ll think it looks good.
