New Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt (2025) is actually a sequel follow-up to Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt (2010). The original series is also on Prime, and if you enjoy the new series thus far you should go back and watch the original. And if you like Hazbin you should watch the original series dubbed in English because FUNimation took a huge shit all over it and it's just as bad in basically all the same ways as Hazbin.

This is obvious bait but I’ll bite. PASWG and Hazbin have a common ancestor in the contemporary artstyles of western animation in the 90’s-2000’s. PASWG is more derivative of Cartoon Network series like Dexter’s Laboratory and The Powerpuff Girls while Hazbin Hotel and its sister series Helluva Boss take heavy inspiration from the art of Jhonen Vasquez, best known for his Nickelodeon series Invader Zim.
