How come 90s Disney Channel was never as beloved among 90s kids as 90s Nickelodeon and 90s Cartoon Network were? I never saw as many people be like "Remember Adventures in Wonderland? That was my favorite" compared to say "Remember shows like Doug, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Dexter's Laboratory, Powerpuff Girls, etc.? Those shows were awesome!" The 90s Disney people get nostalgic for are Disney Afternoon and the Disney movies of the 90s, not so much Disney Channel

It was a premium cable channel until 1997, and it's most noteworthy original programming didn't start airing until the 2000s.
