They're cheap, stay on schedule, work well with western producers, and are capable of genuinely good work when they have to. They did a short for Star Wars: Visions (Journey to the Dark Head) that shows what they're really capable of when given the time and budget. When it comes to cheapass Korean studios, they're your best bet.
I REALLY hope that they're being given more budget for season 3 of MAWS, because it kind of shows, and the producers specifically noted that the only reason the show got approved by Zaslav-era leadership is because it's a globally recognised brand and running on a rock-bottom budget.
