This aged faster than the original show.

This show was embarrassing on every level. Didn't even watch a single episode.
>make fun of selling out every 5 seconds, and they keep acknowledging they're doing it themselves
>the start of Warner Bros and Disney butt fucking each other, leading to a loss of revenue for both sides trying to get Marvel Vs DC properties out the door
>The main point of it all, advertising the wacko bros in Multiversus, is now a reminder that Multiversus is dead and buried, and the game will likely thrive without these cynical fucks in it through fan servers

Everybody knows what it is because it was a huge meme when that episode was written. OP is either joking or retarded.

Animaniacs was always dated

>gets mogged to death by Pokémon so hard that WB stopped producing cartoons domestically
>"noooooooooooo why don't kids appreciate Martin Scorcese refs?"

The original show's cultural references were specifically done with stuff that had some cultural staying power. NuManiacs references are mostly shit that wasn't culturally relevant a month later.

numaniacs, just like nutiny toons are written by emotionally stunted adults thinking THEIR jokes are still culturally relevant

What was it about the Amblin revivals that lead to them being garbage yet the actual Looney Tunes content (sans Space Jam 2) is still good? Did Steven Spielberg go woke or something?
Anonymous No.149789361 [Report] >>149789472
>>149789309
Animaniacs were heavy on topical stuff and pop-culture references while the Looney Tunes is mainly timeless and apolitical outside of the WW2 propaganda stuff so when they got revived one went to LA writers who wanted to take jabs at current events while the other went to animation fans and people wanting to make fun stuff

>Animaniacs were just Family Guy

Hm, you might be right about that. Doesn't explain the Tiny Toons reboot being so ass. The whole point of TT was to bring in a younger audience and that shit ain't gonna happen in a faux college setting. I personally can't stand it but even on an objective level, I don't see how this would appeal/be relatable to kids. If you got an explanation for that, I'm all ears.

>Did Steven Spielberg go woke or something?
Starting with Schindler’s List, yes, but that came out the same year as the original Animaniacs.

The explanation is that the writers had an incest fetish and used the show as an excuse to make Buster and Babs siblings

Because the people who run these big studios don't see any actual value to Animainacs or Tiny Tunes. So when they revived it it was given to Nepo babies rather than actual people in the industry with any actual credentials.

>it was given to Nepo babies
You know I think I remember a couple of oca they tried to use in place of characters people actually liked.

Only someone with no talent would do this sort of shit.

Could somebody tell me if I'm fucking crazy or did the original Animaniacs had an episode specifically about cartoon censorship with some overbearing network lady trying to pussify the show and at the end she drapes herself in the American flag and says I HAVE JUST BEGUN TO FIGHT before getting hit with an anvil? Or was this Tiny Toons? Freakazoid?

Every single Animaniacs thread you show up with this retarded take, and it makes literally zero sense. Neither of those shows were ever competing with each other; Pokemon only started airing in the US AFTER Animaniacs was already ending its initial run. Hell, at that point the only Spielberg cartoon that hadn't already wrapped up at that point was Histeria. Pokemon was only ever competing with reruns; said reruns also lasted until the late 2000s, so it's not like it ever did anything of note to the show.

Seriously, do you have anything better to do than to be this much of a fucking loser?

It's doubly retarded because it implies that in order for something to be funny, you need to understand the reference. Reference = funny. Which on its face isn't true.
I had never heard of "Goodfellas" when I first watched the Animaniacs and in fact I still have not seen the movie. But the idea of pigeons being in the mob is inherently funny, and that's the actual joke. Not "hey, we made a pun using Goodfellas and now we're going to drag it out for however many episodes".
