It is kind of crazy that despite being a long time Justice League member they only gave him one 4 issue self titled comic. Characters with less staying power than him had more comics. I guess DC just doesn't see him as anything more than Detective back-ups and JL roster padding.

Elongated Man's issue is that his two purposes are occupied by two more well liked and popular characters. He was only created because no one at DC remembered they already had Plastic Man in storage so it'd only makes sense that people would stop using him and use the real Plastic man instead

Essentially the guy who played Ralph on the Flash was gaining popularity on the show and then out of nowhere some old Tweets where he made some Edgy comedic jokes came out and was removed from the show. Most people didn’t care especially the cast but the one pushing for his removal was the actress that played Iris. She’s also notorious for having quite a bit of on set drama with other costars (i.e. Danielle Panabaker among others).
