From the 2024 draft of the movie for sure, pre-rewrites based on old storyboards, both the camp and the clone had a greater presence. Some artists who worked on the movie have been posting stuff from their time on the movie too.

Really fun sequence, but I think the film was made better by having light focus on the Elio clone. He barely counts as a character and plays such a small role emotionally in the film. The reveal that Olga knew something was up all along was just perfect imo

JUST came out? well, I'm always complaining about movies not lasting a lot in theaters anymore after the pandemic (they get dumped to digital about a month after their release) so at least there's that.

I'm sure that's part of the problem but since no one went to see the movie in theaters, you'd think that there would be more people interested in watching it now that there's easier access to it.

Pixar's and Disney's recent(like a decade really)controversies, flops and tarnished name has made it so that only sequels to established hits are successful which is why CoCo 2 is development currently. Those early 2020s Pixar movies going straight to streaming and continuing the trend of releasing movies a bit later to streaming has definitely influenced the way people watch movies too.
>makes HAM radio club just to steal shit from people >kid wants to join the club and even brings his chad friend >"noooooo you cant be here im looking for aliens"
And Elio is supposed to be the GOOD guy here?

no idea if it's getting attention or not, I just accidentally stumbled upon that video
wouldn't be too surprised if it gets taken down at some point though

The book was initially posted here, it didn't seem like anyone cared until recently, seems to be making the rounds on twitter too. Might be because the movie is on streaming now?

You'll end up getting the 2025 version of the artbook, not the 2024 draft. If you save the youtube video it'd be fun to sit back and compare the two. I almost considered the same since I enjoy looking at movies with a troubled development, I'm hoping someone eventually scans it. >>149976925
I hope it results in more insight into Elio honestly.
