Jesus Christ, I am starting to understand Waid writing Unthinkable now. They have completely neutered Doom. I genuinely and without memeing preferred Aaron's Edgy-To-The-X-TREME take to whatever "normal" Doom is. After OWUD ends and he's off the board for a while, he should come back as a genuinely evil character, Darkseid Tier. The funny thing is that Bendis of all people wrote a complex and compelling heroic-skewing Doom, only for hacks like Slott and North to give us the current mess.

Doom does not feel like DOOM anymore, he's just another Tumblr/Xitter pet character now. He's a complete wimp, his obsession and pettiness have disappeared, his motives make no sense, he's lost all sense of theatricality, and he's an entirely boring nothing of a character at this point. He needs to get his edge back. He needs another Unthinkable.

This, OP doesn't actually read the comics, if he did he would know early on in OWUD he was being edgy and petty. He nuked an entire town off the map Bucky was living in and framed Bucky for it, just because the man turned down a job position like a cunt.

Its just the usual inconsistency, though if we are being generous to the writers then perhaps many of the stories are to be viewed through the lens of Dooms own propaganda or some such bullshittery that will be revealed when this is done.

Disagree on Penguin, Man-bat and Vandal Savage but Clayface is getting a movie at least and the others have gotten pretty good use in cartoons like Brave and the Bold. Killer Moth does deserve better treatment and only recently has been getting actually focus that isn't just killing him off cheaply or only making him a punchline. Going back to Clayface, have they done anything with his friendship with Cassandra Cain he had recently or has that been forgotten?
