>Directed by Rob Letterman and Conrad Vernon, who both previously directed in DreamWorks Shark Tale and Shrek 2 respectively, both from the same year 2004.

I think they look alright
Anonymous No.150212446 [Report]
Admitedly, this movie was good because of the involvement of Letterman, Conrad Vernon's humor in general is just too juvenile and acerbic to begin with.

They were already struggling to make the shitty premise work for one movie, but it got a stupid tv show anyway.

Glad they did didn't make a sequel, because if that happened, probably it would have the same treatment of Shrek 2. You know, a bad movie and a huge letdown compared to the first one.

This is a cult cartoon, it has great humor and the characters look funny, I would really like to see the sequel.

Yes, I already had a giantess fetish when I was a kid, but it still doesn't change the fact that the cartoon is really funny.

>Monsters vs Aliens (2009)
>Gulliver's Travels (2010)
>Goosebumps (2015)
>Detective Pikachu (2019)
All the movies directed by Rob Letterman. Notice how only the first two movies were animated, and both made by Dreamworks Animation (also both made by the Glendale division of the company).

It's pretty sad how the DreamWorks fanbase has love for boring crap like Kung Fu Panda 2 and looks down on entertaining movies like MvA (a movie that was co-directed by one of the co-directors of Shark Tale, Rob Letterman).

Kelly Asbury and Conrad Vernon aren't very good directors. Shrek 2 is what happens when you let both direct a movie together.

This is a good insight into Sharkfags psyche. Notice how he NEVER responds to anything anyone says. It's just useless bullet points telling worthless shit nobody cares about. I assume somewhere in his autistic third-world mind he's contributing something, but he isn't. He's terrible and awful and should kill himself.

This movie was a life changing experience for me. Not watching the movie itself, but when my mom and I came home and I overheard her telling my dad it was terrible. That was the first ever indication that grown ups put up with things that kids enjoy which they don’t and may lie to stay polite about it.

This is going to make you feel either very young or very old, but 381 million worldwide for an animated movie in 2005-2015 was actually pretty disappointing, especially from a major tentpole from one of the Big 3 of Dreamworks, Disney and Blue Sky(Once upon a time...)

Just to give an example, this same year had Up crush the box office with 736 million, and Ice Age absolutely destroyed the place with 880 million dollars. This would be the same year Avatar came out, after all, there was money to be had and MvA just didn't really do much at the box office, same as Megamind would do. It just wasn't enough of a critical darling to go for round 2 and wasn't financially successful at the box office or merch to justify putting something else that might work on the backburner in its place. Simple as.

By this point I'm beyond convinced that Sharkfag wants us to hate everything he says is "good." It's the natural response, I'm 100% confident that nobody on /co/ likes Shark Tale, and anybody who did is now repulsed by it simply because of its association with Sharkfag. It's the reverse for Shrek 2 and Kung Fu Panda 2, I'm sure some anons who didn't give a shit about those movies before are now more defensive over those films just because agreeing with Sharkfag is like agreeing with whatever group you hate. I can't imagine being this annoying about something you like for years and NOT having the self-awareness to go "Maybe shoving thing I like down peoples' throats is bad?"

Although my primary interest is to fuck the giant lady, the supporting cast and original movie villain were still entertaining enough for me to appreciate the rest of the movie
