No. It did get a big following from the alphabet people but many of them were among the most vocal criticizers of the show due to "misrepresentation". Which ranged from reasonable complaints to absolute nonsense because on both sides the most vocal criticizers of cartoons are often terminally online lunatics.
The majority of people either liked the show or ignored it.
