kek pretty much, I'm familiar with the tone/pacing of the shows that preceded it, so that helped. It's kind of a shock how unlikable some of them are, like the Big Fat Baby motif or whatever you'd call it was such an unfortunate thing to tack onto EVERY episode. That and the obligation to have sing songs with 1% of the soul
I did enjoy the first Pepper Mills segment I happened to see, where she interviews Calvin Coolidge

I think the biggest disconnect was trying to carry a show like this with one-dimensional characters/joke names. They clearly worked well as vignettes like Katie Ka-Boom, but stretches them thin here.
