I don't know a lot about DreamWorks' studio history but I do find it somewhat amusing that they made The Prince of Egypt (very little comedy) and have never attempted anything semi-serious since. I respect it

Shark Tale. there's plenty of urban/mob stories with fish to be told.
Bee Movie is just terrible.
Monster vs Aliens is creatively bankrupt and only gooners remember it.
