So now that Glitch has three finished shows, one current ongoing, two shows with aired pilots sitting in the production in the pipeline, and one show with aired pilot and its own production pipeline they are publishing, at one point do they go from being considered a scrappy indie studio to a full-blown animation studio and ostensible network tier channel?
Likely never on the level of like CN or Nick but something closer to The Hub in eventual potential.

Personally, production wise I think it will be when they can have 2 shows of their current quality. being produced internally, running and being released alongside each other for the majority of both shows lifespans. As doing so would entail the resources of having at least two internal teams making content.
As for being the internet era equivalent of a cartoon channel once they have 4 shows of their current quality all running concurrently with each other on their main page then in my eyes they will have become a proper digital age successor to the old cable channels.

They would have to make like 5-6 shows concurrently like Nick or CN did. I don't know if they can get there, but if they did that they would have regular content. I assume more of their upcoming shows will be multi-season, even though Murder Drones and Digital Circus were only 1-season limited series. Lackadaisy is already aiming for more than 1 season, and I imagine Knights of Guinevere will be. Don't know about Gaslight District. Knowing how popular TADC is I'm surprised the crew didn't do at least 2 seasons, kind of a waste if you ask me. People would have stuck around for some funny episodes in the middle and they could've had a safety net longer. If I was in Kevin and Luke's position I would have made Goose do 2 seasons.

They're not "Indie" they're "Independently owned" at this point do the massive amount of success they've been gaining.
It really doesn't matter if they're only really airing TADC right now, they have a model for how they want to operate to keep production smooth and thanks to TADCs and Murder Drones continued success with merch sales Glitch is capable of funding more shows going forward. They have three shows to work on now, all with their own different art style and animation style, two of which are animated in 2D. They are being outsourced to assist with Lackadaisy's production and they're on streaming platforms
It wouldn't be right to call them Indie anymore, they're no CN or Nick but they've carved out a comfortable spot for themselves where they aren't beholden to the standards and practices of the mainstream industry

These guys stopped being indie the moment Digital Circus got that pop up shop in Japan

One of he things to take into account is that unlike traditional channels that thanks to the streaming format old shows just add to the library instead of getting cycled out for new blood.
This means that its less about how many shows are needed at a time and more about the perception that they have a varied amount of quality shows coming out.
But on the TADC subject I think is more an issue of it being a bit to early in the companies lifespan to start making those demands without risking driving away creatives, especially if they would affect the current star creator with a lot of pull. Those kinds of "urgings" are the domain of groups that need to focus more on managing what they already have than ones that are trying to grow.

There is an honest discussion to be had here because Glitch does fall into a historical trend of smaller studios that by most definitions were were mainly mercenary affairs that worked on 1-2 shows at a time. However unlike their predecessors which were either taking toy company money for ostensible commission work or selling the broadcasting rights to their work for broadcast.
Like Glitch is technically in the same boat as Fresh TV (Total Drama franchise studio) in regards to how they function, its just that one hosts on YouTube as their primary platform and the other sells their shows to networks but I would never see anyone argue that the TDI guys are indie despite saying so on their website.

Jesus Christ, maybe instead of sucking your own cock with a thread dedicated to being your own personal diary, you should just start a substack.
