What? The whole “glitch presents” thing is about helping with financing. They broker connections with potential investors and, I’m assuming, receive a cut from the deal.
The appeal for Zeurel would be that he wouldn’t have to pay out of pocket anymore and a boost in visibility, but Glitch takes a hit in reputation if the show flops.
They’d primarily be interested in picking up shows with real potential. There’s something to be said for taking a gamble, but unfortunately MW is already 5 episodes in and has established a history of being a dud despite the best efforts of higher profile creators attempting to boost it to their audience.

Sunk Cost Fallacy only applies if he specifically expects a financial return on his investment. This is common in gambling. "I've already dropped $5k...if I stop now, it will all be for nothing".
Sometimes people invest in something simply because they're passionate about it. A person can drop a lot of money into purchasing and maintaining a sailboat and lose a ton of money in the process before selling it at a loss, but that would not be a sunk cost fallacy.
Zeurel does seem to express disappointment in MW not getting more views, however it's hard to say if his end goal is to actually generate a profit. It seems like he simply wants more people to watch the thing he works so hard on and perhaps for the project to become more self-sustainable, but from everything I've seen, he seems driven to create this show because it's something he's always wanted to do as opposed to expecting financial rewards.

Every fan of the show online has been constantly crowing about how "you all NEED to watch Monkey Wrench, it's SO good!" for months now and there's been nothing.
