Early 2000s shows had to make 23-26 episodes per season, how else are you gonna fill that much time for 10 seasons?

Goes to prove as long as you are generally nice and chill at your job you'll get more work since while he's not like a hollywood megastar, he's consistently had work since smallville ended.

Also a bit lame, there were moments when I wondered just what kind of shit they were taking to give characters such dumb stories.

Because angsty teen show, obviously.

Unironically preferred its obvious progenitor 90's 'Superboy' despite the budget, etc.:

I wouldn’t say sad but angsty and melodramatic. Still I loved the first 5 seasons.

>Chloe: Clark, I lost all my clothes. You think you can reach around in my vagina to see if they're there?
>Clark: Lana didn't see me waving hi to her this morning, Chloe. Now I'm sad
>Pete: I'll help you out Chloe
>Chloe: Not now Pete
Man, Chloe wanted Clark bad and he just didn't give a fuck

Tweaking the usually vapid Superman/Flash Race into a moment of competitive kinship was actually genius for a drama series.

the laugh gives him a joker-esque vibe, but honestly I started to appreciate it the more I watched this Luthor, he's clearly a little off his hinges but still very human in a lot of ways too, unironically kind of great

Was a particularly good episode. Tricks Superboy into a mine with kryptonite but accidently gets trapped himself, but genius for the character stuff to have them trapped together in a confined space.

Series was very troubled due to rights issues and actors changed. Still hard to get a hold of due to said rights issues. Spent a lot of time looking for it after it was originally broadcast.
