Why are they doing a live-action TV series of the Gargoyles cartoon?

Gargoyles is an odd fit with Disney cartoons in that it’s more serious and action-packed, but it’s not a Marvel or Star Wars property. So they’re trying out live action and seeing if that works. I have no faith anything will come from that due to how long it’s been in development.

Greg Weisman mentioned that Disney TVA excs feel that it would feel out of place within their current comedy driven cartoons.

I mean you can't put Goliath next to the StuGo gang in a promotional poster without raising some eyebrows
