I'm a huge, huge fan of "pollinator" roles in sex, so usually that bleeds into my ideas for futa world building. I like the idea that niether men nor futas have a complete sperm cell on their own, and so first the cell needs to be completed, by a man and a futa having sex, which can then be used to fertilize a woman.
You can do the same thing with eggs, of course. And the result is always that a traditional family unit then becomes all three.
My personal favorite, at least for now, is futas complete the sperm cell of men they fuck, who can then impregnate women for a few days, until that generation of sperm dies.
I do like pregnant futas, but I like pollinators more, and every time I try to make futas able to interface with both, it feels really awkward and strange. I haven't found an elegant solution to have my cake and fuck it too. But, in a perfect world, niether eggs nor sperm are complete on their own, and a futa needs to be involved in the process for both the man and the woman. But, I've yet to come up with a model that's satisfyingly believable
