Silk pillowcase is really all you need, or a silk bonnet like >>18456271 says, but in my experience bonnets don't work well if you have bangs.
>>18456278
wash them on a handwash/delicate cycle in cold or warm water with a lanolin detergent, hang dry (preferably in the sun). Easy.

If you're a woman, yes I've heard this is absolutely true. My gf and sisters use them.
If you're a guy, don't do it they look faggy.

Is $2000 around the amount you are expected to spend on a quality 100% Mulberry silk King set?

Silk? This is satin, which is plastic.
Real silk is waxy and stiff.
>>18458052
Real silk, yes. But you have to be careful lots of companies claim to be silk to charge premium when it isn't silk.

yeah this whole "silk will save your hair" bullshit combined with these "vegan silk alternatives" (plastic) is just another way to make you consoooooom products

>Real silk is waxy and stiff.
You don't know what you're talking about. Silk is fiber, the texture you get is entirely based on the weave. >Charmeuse, Gauze, Dupioni, Chiffon, Habotai, Raw, Velvet,
All of these are widely known silk weaves and have very different textures.

Get a mulberry silk pillowcase off amazon from any of the 100 sellers to chose from. Read the description to make sure the fiber content is 100% mulberry silk, avoid ones that list the fiber as "satin", and you'll be fine. It'll cost you $20-50.

Ya silk retains heat and can be hot. I live in a hot humid climate and no one wears silk in summer, it would be way to sweaty, it's all cotton/ramie/linen in hot weather. I can't imagine sleeping in silk sheets unless you have AC going all the time.

Iโ€™ve slept in satin sheets all my life and people who touch me like through a handshake even always compliment me for having such soft skin. I donโ€™t use lotion or anything and my skin is like velvet.

silk bonnet is a great investment
