It's not just a simple medication or an item that enables a lifestyle choice, to these people it becomes an obsession like its their white whale.
Trans people have huge problems with femboys and its because both party's ideals clash on a major scale. Femboys are just boys that enjoy an androgynous aesthetic, but keep it a hobby or a choice of fashion.
Trans people can however view it as something far more intense and internalize it to a nuclear level, it defines everything about them as soon as they decide to begin taking HRT and dressing differently. To them, femboys are essentially double-dipping or fence-sitting. Viewing them like trend-chasers without actually making a decision.
Some trans people are pretty normal and mellow people, and I think they're fine. I'm friends with a good few of them that just treat it normally (as they should), but some view it like they're enlightened to a higher state of existence and talk down to others that they remotely view as abrasive or opposing them in any fashion.
Its why the person in the thread disgusts me, its such a false and fake way to perceive yourself, and to elevate yourself over others in such a petty way, and unfortunately it actually demeans and disparages what being trans even is. I've seen so many people like them and it's frustrating how rampant it is.
