Where can I buy a sweater with pockets?
That's the only reason I wear hoodies, I use the pockets all the time. But the hood is just in the way.

It's not set in stone what I need, but it should also be somewhat thick and not be made only out of plastic.

But if you want a jacket with a zip closure, then get something like a Harrington or bomber jacket. They come in both cotton and plastic.
