My canada goose bomber was stolen out of my university dorm when my roomate decided to have a party and invite a bunch of niggers and pakis over while i was at my gfs. Ive heard of people getting robbed for canada goose and moose knuckle in the streets.

Got a bomber length black parka for town and hiking, and a longer white parka for snowmobiling and ice fishing. Compared to goose, the materials and quality control lack, but warmth is equal. I can wear and leave EB anywhere, and i dont have a bunch of nigger eyeing me and watching my jacket.

fill weight is how much down there is in it.
high quality down is warmer and has more loft so less fill weight is needed for an equal level of warmth.
temperature rating and how good people say a jacket is for real world is kind of independent of this because things like the design of the jacket and how wind-proof it is drastically impact this.
the quality of a down jacket isn't based on how "warm the jacket keeps you" this is a common misunderstanding. shitty down jackets and and high end ones keep you just as warm.
the difference is a high quality jacket is much lighter weight, airier, more breathable and packs down to a much smaller size.

If you're wet maybe but I've worn shorts in humid wind in the 20sF before. As long as you're moving it's no big deal. Just when you sit and do nothing is cold an issue above 20F. It's not comfortable but it's not death like -5F and wind.
