I see a lot of squabbling and name calling over slim vs baggy, what's "timeless", what's "cringe", but I never see anyone post selfie and an attestation of where their actual outfit falls on the spectrum.

And some of you are probably paranoid like me and don't want your pic on 4chan even without a face so let's do it this way. First, spell out your fit preference (that is, subjectively, do you like slim, medium, or baggy) and having done this, spell out the numbers for that fit. Waist, knee, and leg opening. Hard mode: rationalize your choice. Then feel free to name call and argue with others.

Starting point, me
Preference: "medium" by my subjective evaluation
Nominal waist: 31 "
Knee: 9.25 "
Leg opening : 8.5"

Rationalization: my favorite pair from a respectable but not high end brand of jeans (N&F), in their widest cut. Fast fashion is a lot wider these days. This is somewhat slimmer than what the kids wear, but you still can't see the anatomy of my leg (and I have T rex thighs)

post a pic of how you want us to measure or else everyone's gonna do it a little different.
a mid thigh or a high low thigh measure would also be key to knowing how they fit from text.

My favorite cut of jeans are levis 551z. I think they are from 1961. I'm wearing them with the yellow short sleeve. For pants I go with classic/relaxed/natural. Same with dress pants and tops. I did unfortunately wear skinny jeans in the mid 2000s. But now I think skinny jeans and baggy jeans look fruity. The baggy jeans zoomers wear now just seem like a larp. I liked the baggy jeans of the 90s and loved the way wiggers and hoodlums wore them in the late 90s-2000s.

(from the knee up) this is the slimmest i like to go these days. western flare cut from the 60s/70's. these will be my main jeans for the next year or two. i don't think its the most timeless cut but i already have a lot of other jeans in timeless cuts and i want an excuse to buy ropers.
