That evening I shaved him. He wasn't someone you had a touchy lovey relationship with but he mumbled what I thought was thank you. I dressed him. I think he said love you. My aunt played piano in the room. I learned everything I know from observing him. I felt like doing that and dressing him was a way for him to die with a bit more dignity than most.
