Put the makeup on anon it's not gay to cover up blemishes and pimples. You don't need to walk around with a fully beat face, i.e. eye shadow, glistening lips, blush, mascara, contour powder, translucent powder, lip liner, etc, looking like a drag queen.
Men should at least have a concealer to spot conceal, and a foundation to smooth the look of your skin out. Especially if you're going to an event where you're going to be having you photo taken. just keep it light, you'll still look like a man (a man with healthy skin) using only those two things.
