I think it's best when it's masculine stuff (sneakers, baggy shirts, basketball shorts, baseball caps, etc.) mixed into an outfit that still has clear feminine elements and charm. If not, they just look like the lesbian in OP pic and it's meh.

Much like men wearing women's clothing, it's good only when it's not about sex. You have to ask, why are you wearing clothing designed for the opposite sex? Is it because it's a genuinely nice item that works for you and that's what was available, or is it because you want to wear clothing of the opposite sex?
