Is getting swagged out harder or easier in the 2020s?

On the one hand global swag inspiration has never been more accessible, on the other that means you are on a constant swag conveyor belt as drippy shit quickly becomes played out.

Lors reaction rapidly ageing millenial dressers?

Pic related, about to fall off the swag carousel.

Instead of following a trend and stressing yourself over a fake and gay rat race, dress for yourself, meaning something that looks inherently good on you. Good clothing is to bring out your good features, not be a costume and a distraction. Be inherent. Once the clothes come off, are you still fashionable?

There is good news about this fashion craze. This is a golden opportunity for YOU to be a trend-setter. Wear something that other people haven’t worn in ages. Put together a unique outfit. In fact, try designing a new type of clothing all together.

Just wear what you like and people will compliment you if you look good. Stop caring what other people are wearing and focus on yourself

>authentic
Be authentic then.

Listen. I wear a plain white tee and blue jeans. Thing is, that plain white tee looks good on me. It’s fitted and shows my defined arms and chest. Girls young and older like it. Why? Because I look good in it. Are plain white tees popular? No. I didn’t have to wear baggy Y2K Japanese jeans. I didn’t even have to get a popular wolf haircut. Those are trends. Fake stupid shit that will change. People will throw away the old after spending so much money on it, only to chase the next artificial trend.

Fashion is actually very simple. Fit and color. Fit means it frames your body well, bringing out the good features. Color means coordinating colors and complimenting your complexion. Everything else is subjective. Just doing those basics means you’re already fashionable than 99% of the world population.

Sure, it’s not about getting women. It’s about looking fashionable and presentable right? Looking tasteful perhaps? All of that is subjective. You have thousands of different articles of clothing in many different colors and fits. If the outfit looks fly on you, wear it.

Dress for what you do? Do you like hiking and camping? Do you play sports? Do you spend 24/7 in the gym? Do you go to formal dinners or business meetings often? Do you sit in your bedroom 24/7 playing video games and browsing 4chan? (most likely answer) Wear something that suits and highlights the kind of person you are.

none of that hypebeast sneakerhead stuff is "drip" anymore now that everyone knows how to get reps.
if your $1200 hyped sneakers could be made for $40 in a chinese sweatshop i'm going to assume you paid $40 for them from a chinese sweatshop.
its not 2010 anymore. genie's out of the bottle. if your clothes are cheap to make but hyped and overpriced i'm going to assume you got the rep. if you want to actually flex start wearing clothes that are too high of quality to be made by chink sweatshops. bespoke fabrics are much more of a flex than a sneaker brand these days, because I know one can be faked in a chink sweatshop and the other can't.
at this point streetwear and hypebeast culture is dead.
only little boys who can't grow up and learn how to dress left clinging to its corpse.

you mean zoomer baggy right? or do you mean the actual fits we used to wear back in y2k?
theres smaller makers on ig like yuremane and k-two studios who do "zoomer baggy" jeans in japanese selvedge.
fitted underground will make anything if you ask.
or if you mean jeans actually made back in y2k, yeah sugar cane lvc and evisu were all making jeans that would be considered baggy today. they didn't reach the levels of bagginess we see today except maybe some evisu international stuff but they definitely were wider than 'relaxed' nobody wore them all stacked and too-long until more like mid 2000's tho and that was mostly a black ppl thing.

Y2K baggy, meaning the current zoomer trend is where they are narrow at the waist but baggy at the bottom. Usually worn with clunky boots. They aren’t baggy like what blacks used to wear. They’re kinda like oversized bell bottoms.

Very good, only criticism is how the cream trousers are very high contrast with the navy tie and brown jacket. Darker trousers, or a lighter jacket, might be a little softer.

This is still too wide for Y2K. The waist has to be very narrow and not make your ass look big. Think of a skinny person wearing baggy pants in their proper waist size.

yes, on a whole different planet from everything else. america has 1 mill left and it only makes mass production type denims. italy has candiani mills which can put out ultra high end fabrics but they primarily focus on mass production and lower qual stuff.
japan basically took a separate evolutionary path when it came to fabric design and instead of focusing on ways to mass produce denim more cheaply and uniformly like the rest of the world they focused on making ultra high end bespoke fabrics.
its not even a secret or an internet nerd thing. most high end designer jeans have been using either japanese denim, candiani mills or cone mills since the 80s and cone mills is gone now.
