I'm glad the skinny jean trend is over because I can actually buy normal width pants instead of hunting for the least skinny fit in the store that's still too slim.
the gap has their 1994 "throwback" collection and then some additional '90s fit jeans that have high waists, for example. High waists will look way better on you than low rise crap.
I have some of those pants, some vintage stuff I thrifted, a pair of higher rise jeans from old navy, some higher rise chinos from gap, and they look better on me than low rise.
I also am finding out that oversized clothing if done right doesn't make you look like you're a kid wearing his dad's clothes, it just looks good compared to super slim fit trash. I've been sizing up in my t-shirt sizes, for example.
